Dear Families,
 
Please join us on February 1st in the Lyle Schools Gym for our New Year Concert! The K-5 classes will be performing music that they have been learning in 2023. The program will start at 6:00 PM, please arrive with students at 5:45 PM so everyone can settle in before the music starts. 

Students performing should be dressed in a way that is comfortable and presentable. Nobody needs to buy a new tuxedo suit, but I hope we will all dress up a little more than on a normal school day. Attire should be along the lines of what your child might wear at a wedding or their “Sunday best.”  

School concerts are the most exciting part of your child’s experience as a music student. When our students perform for an audience, they build self-confidence and demonstrate the skills they practice in the classroom. Every chance to perform is an important milestone in a musician’s life, including our Lyle students. I hope you will support all Lyle student-musicians in this endeavor!
