Behavioral Health Support and Services
Since spring of the 2021-2022 school year, Lyle School has participated in a program to increase behavioral health services for our students. This program has been implemented at all schools throughout Klickitat County, and is funded and serviced through Beacon Health and ESD112.
The goals of the program are to help prevent and reduce emotional distress and increase access to counseling. To accomplish these goals, students will have the opportunity to participate in classroom discussions, small group, and/or individual meetings. Rita Pinchot is our Regional Behavioral Health Specialist.
Rita holds a Masters of Social Work (MSW) and is a Substance Use Disorder Professional (SUDP).
We are hopeful this program will show promising results and assist students with their educational goals. If you think of ways that a therapist can help your student, you can refer them by contacting Rita Pinchot or by using this link: https://www.esd112.org/safety-center/wellness-treatment-services/. You can also call the school at 509-365-2211, ext. 120.
